This expanding, independent Housing Association are leading the way providing high performing and efficient housing and commercial property solutions to the people of Plymouth.
Due to strategic growth, an opportunity has arisen for a forward thinking and proactive Programme Delivery Manager to join the Housing, Repairs and Regeneration Team.
The position requires the individual to take responsibility for delivering programmes of work with an estimated budget of £12m per year, to the highest of standards, on time and within budget. You will ensure work is carried out to the required legislative requirements of Decent Homes, Health & Safety standards and provide value for money.
The ideal applicant will have previous project delivery experience in a Contracts Management or Quantity Surveying role. You should have the following knowledge and skills set:
- Sound technical construction and building regulation knowledge
- Commercial and contractual acumen with working knowledge of JCT forms of contract
- Able to plan and programme construction and building projects
- A proven background working for contractors
- Experience of managing large budgets, workforces and contractors
- Excellent organisation, IT and communication skills
Applicants should hold a degree or equivalent qualification in Construction or Quantity Surveying, have obtained membership of RICS or CIOB status, hold relevant H & S certificates and be committed to CPD.

Would be well suited to someone who has a background in contracting, ideally housing and construction who has been responsible for managing multiple projects, in a contracts or projects management capacity, looking to now work on the client side.
