Summary

A vacancy for a Part 2 Architectural Assistant in the Birmingham branch of a Multidisciplinary working in Architecture, Masterplanning and Landscape Architecture has arisen. This role would be perfect for an experience Part 2 Architectural Assistant looking to progress on towards their Part 3.

This is an exciting opportunity to work for a well-established practice with over 25 years’ experience, who working across a range of sectors. A successful candidate will be working as part of the residential team, creating working drawings, completing planning applications and liaising with Clients and Planning Officers.

You’ll be able to get involved in all stages of the development process, learning at every step of the way. As an Architectural Assistant you’ll be given the chance to run your own projects and progress within the company; a wonderful chance for anyone aiming to advance to a Part 3.

The Role: Part 2 Architectural Assistant

- Assisting the Project Architects on larger schemes
- Developing a portfolio of smaller projects as job runner
- Complete site visits to check on progress
- Liaise with the client, external consultants and attending design team meetings
- Production of drawings, sketches and graphics

The Candidate: Part 2 Architectural Assistant

- Part 2 RIBA qualified Architectural Assistant with UK based experience
- Experience working within the UK regulatory system (Planning and Building Regulations)
- Client focused attitude with excellent interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with Revit is essential
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Motivated, creative and confident individual aiming to develop
