- You can expect to work on an interesting variety of challenging project work in the commercial, education, healthcare, hotel & leisure, custodial, residential, manufacturing, retail and financial sectors, delivering high quality designs on project values from £50k to £50m

The Role/Candidate – Civil Engineer

- BEng, BSc or similar level qualification in Civil/Structural Engineering and/or a HNC/HND with relevant knowledge gained in a design office environment
- Minimum 4 years relevant work experience
- Self-motivated and able to work well on their own
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to design private and adoptable highway towards technical approval
- Ability to design foul and surface water drainage systems for public adoption
- Experience of implementing SUDS and designing sustainable drainage solutions
- Ability to use Micro Drainage software for network and simulation
- Ability to use Civils 3D or similar ground modelling and highway design software
- Liaison with engineers, architects, design team, and contractors
- Attend technical meetings with the external design team
- Assist technicians as and when required
- Foster positive team working and interpersonal effectiveness
