Digital Engineering Manager - Bristol
An opportunity has arisen to join a leading construction main contractor for an array of exciting new projects on a permanent basis. As the Digital Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the development of the divisional strategy, agree the implementation targets and timelines and actively assist in the deployment of Digital Engineering technologies.

 This position will include the following responsibilities:

• Provide support to the Lead Digital Engineer
• Monitor the implementation and application of the divisional BIM procedures, processes and plans.
• Undertake quality assurance audits on third party involved, at regional level
• Initiate and complete tasks and procedures, deliver 3D and 4D models
• Provide BIM delivery support for tenders and project teams
• Create, modify and review multi-discipline BIM models using suitable authoring and checking tools
• Provide standard Digital Engineering training modules, including demonstration-led training in the application and delivery of BIM  industry standards (ISO19650-1, ISO19650-2, ISO19650-3, BS 1192-4:2014, ISO19650:5)
• Support Pre-construction team defining Project Digital strategy during tender stage

• Working knowledge and understanding of:
• o ISO19650-1, ISO19650-2, ISO19650-3, BS 1192-4:2014, ISO19650:5
• o IFC and other commonly used data exchange formats
• o Viewpoint for Projects
• o Autodesk (Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks Manage)
• Able to demonstrate initiative and a proactive approach
• Understand and interpret needs and requirements for Model creation and timeline for delivery development and completion
• General knowledge of:
• o Autodesk AEC Suite (AutoCAD 3D, Navisworks Manage, 3DS Max)
• o Sketchup
• o Enscape (or similar rendering platform)
• o BIMCollab (or similar collaboration platform)
• Basic knowledge of:
• o Synchro
• o Solibri Office
• Relevant driving licence
