A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Site Manager to join a successful, well-known contractor with a strong pipeline of public sector works and a great reputation for delivering quality schemes.
Currently engaged on a live project in central Yeovil, they are in need of additional resource in the form of a Site Manager to join the team. This is a short-term PAYE contract role which would involve sub-contractor supervision, managing Health & Safety & quality control on the finishing stages of a major refurbishment scheme.
You should have previous Main contracting experience gained on major projects and it's expected you'll have an SMSTS, First aid at work and CSCS Card with a recent DBS being a major advantage.
The initial contract runs into October but there is some potential for further work thereafter as this scheme is the first in a series of planned works and, subject to sustained workload and individual performance, this presents a great opportunity for someone to work with one of the most dynamic contractors in the region and possibly pave the way for longer term work.
