JOB TITLE:       Asbestos Surveyor

LOCATION:     Exeter

SALARY:            £19.23 per hour

 

The Employer:

We are currently looking to fill the position of Asbestos Surveyor within a housing environment,

The Role:

• To undertake a mix of Management, Refurbishment and Demolition Surveys in customer properties to meet legal requirements
• To carry out single and multiple room surveys, roof and job specific surveys as well as full property management surveys
• Arranging and completing the visits to customers in their homes across a substantial geographical area
• Delivering a service, providing a high-quality level of care
• A full driving licence is essential for this position as a company van will be provided

 

 

The Candidate will need:

• To hold a BOHS P402
• To hold a BOHS P405
• To hold a degree in a role related subject
• To have a CIOB/CIH/RICS equivalent qualification in property surveying
• Confidence in literacy and numeracy skillset
• Experience in carrying out relevant surveys
• An advanced level of knowledge regarding Health and Safety and Asbestos legislation
• Experience in a similar role would be advantageous
• Experience of Decent Homes Standard and Housing H&S Rating System

 

 

SUMMARY:

Working hours to 37 a week, Monday – Friday.

Expected Length of Contract is Approx 6 months

A Basic or Enhanced DBS check is required
