JOB TITLE:       Senior Building Surveyor

LOCATION:     Bristol, South Gloucestershire, Somerset and Mid and North Devon

SALARY FROM: £48,685


SALARY TO: £54,094

We are looking to fill the role of Senior Building Surveyor within a housing environment, As well as meeting housing demand our client aims to enable local companies to recruit the workforce they need from their communities.

The Role:

  • A Team leader for Property Condition Surveyors, delivering surveys and collecting data in relation to condition and energy
  • Managing and setting objectives for the team
  • Identifying and effectively managing day to day risks
  • Budget administering
  • The next step for an ambitious Chartered Building Surveyor looking to progress into management
 

The Candidate should:
  • Have excellent knowledge and understanding of Building Surveying
  • Hold qualifications in property surveying RICS, CIOB, CABE or equivalent, or willingness to work towards professional qualification
  • Be able to demonstrate knowledge of Health and Safety legislation in relation to management of housing and the construction industry including CDM.
  • Be willing to undertake professional development on a continuous basis keeping up to date with surveying profession
  • Have experience of line management or coaching
 

 

SUMMARY:

This is full time, permanent role.
