Architectural Technician, Plymouth £35K - £45K + DOE

Opportunity for an experienced Architectural Technician with strong technical skills and attention to detail to join an award-winning, multi-disciplinary consultancy. This will suit somebody with a strong interest in Interior Design, you will be working within the Interior Design team.

You will need proven experience in Revit/BIM and a keen eye for detail. Initially, you'll work on a high-profile, large commercial project, with a mix of office-based and on-site responsibilities. There will be plenty of opportunities to contribute to a wide range of projects across various sectors and scales, both now and in the future.

This would also suit an Architectural Technician who has a strong interest in Interior Design, or a technically strong Interior Designer.

Responsibilities

  • Site visits
  • Research for products and services, trends, familiar with materials and product samples
  • Creating visuals in mood and material boards, 3D images and montages
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Forming creative solutions
  • Proficiency in Revit or BIM
  • Tender documentation and understanding of the administration of tender process
  • Understanding of costs and products awareness within the commercial sector
Requirements
  • Relevant Architectural / Interior Design degree
  • Previous UK based experienced is essential
  • Strong creative skills and excellent communication
  • Eye for detail and accuracy
  • Exceptional design and technical abilities
  • Worked in a variety of project sectors
  • Understanding of the commercial construction process
