Circa 6 month contract!
A well reputed and innovative Construction services provider with a strong pipeline of work in the South West marketplace is seeking to supplement an existing site team with a capable and committed Externals Manager.
Joining their existing team on a multi-storey development, you'd be providing full support to the Project lead while having an active and noticeable presence on site working with the Supply chain delivering external work packages including Brickwork, Cladding, Windows & Scaffolding.
Responsible for a range of duties including Inductions and Health & Safety management, Sub-contractor organisation and co-ordination and general Quality assurance, You should have a proven track record of performing this role within a main contracting environment previously and should also have a relevant CSCS card, SMSTS, and First Aid at work certificates.
Technically apt, you should have a good eye for detail, great organisational skills and have a motivation to deliver to programme, budget and quality standards.
This initial phase is due for completion by next summer so this is a decent length contract with the potential for further work thereafter subject to performance and contractor workload.
