I am delighted to be working with a regional developer seeking an experienced Technical Manager. Due to expansion of sites in the South West, the company are looking for an additional member of staff to join their team.

Overseeing circa 2 projects which could be exceeding 100+ units, therefor you will need to have a strong background in new build housing sector on behalf of a developer or housing contractor. You will be expected to visit sites regularly and split your time between the office, site and working from home.

Summary of Duties:

• To Control and manage the design process from planning application stage through to project completion
• Recommend appointment of consultants
• Ensuring external consultant designs are built correctly in accordance with the design, budget and to a high-quality.
• To support the operational teams with sufficient and accurate information to progress sites in line with build programme.
• To provide technical support from inception to build and completion.

Candidates will need to have ideally a volume new build residential background and be confident in delivering 50 - 100 + unit sites. Ideally you will have a strong engineering or architectural background and be accustomed to working within the new homes sector. 


You will be able to work autonomously on your projects, whilst being a valued and integral part of a larger team, taking ownership of your projects from start to finish. Working with and mentoring a technical coordinator on projects.


In return the company can offer a competitive salary which is DOE and will range from £50k- £60k PA plus car allowance and benefits
