Your Role
You'll play a key role in designing, coordinating, and delivering high-quality electrical systems as part of a multidisciplinary team:
Develop full electrical service designs: lighting, power distribution, fire/safety systems, structured cabling, and smart controls
Collaborate closely with civil, structural, mechanical, and sustainability teams to deliver integrated technical packages
Support energy-efficient and low-carbon design strategies using in-house modelling tools and sustainability best practices
Assist in site surveys, technical inspections, and commissioning tasks as part of project handover
Liaise with clients, main contractors, and internal teams during design reviews and site visits
Maintain compliance with UK regulations and standards (BS 7671, CIBSE, Building Regs)
Contribute to internal technical quality assurance, risk management, and value-engineering processes
What You’ll Bring
BEng/MEng or HND/HNC in Electrical Engineering or Building Services
3–7 years’ experience in building services electrical design—consultancy or contractor background
Proficiency with electrical design tools, and CAD/BIM software (Revit experience is a strong plus)
Strong grasp of UK wiring regulations and CIBSE standards
Effective communicator with good stakeholder and client engagement skills
Demonstrable attention to technical detail and ability to deliver precision in designs
A collaborative team player comfortable working in multidisciplinary delivery environments
Aspiring toward or maintaining chartership (IEE/CIBSE/IET/MICE etc.)
