Your Key Responsibilities As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you’ll be leading on the mechanical design and project coordination, working with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and contractors. You’ll be involved from early-stage design to commissioning, bringing a practical, detail-oriented mindset and a passion for quality.
You’ll Be Doing Things Like:- Attending and contributing to client and design team meetings
- Conducting surveys, feasibility studies, and writing detailed technical reports
- Producing detailed mechanical design schemes and specifications
- Reviewing contractor documentation and providing technical support during installation
- Supporting cost planning and assessing tenders
- Mentoring junior engineers and identifying training needs
- Spotting business opportunities and contributing to the growth of the practice
What We’re Looking For:- Experienced Mechanical Engineer in building services
- Confident communicator and client liaison
- Comfortable with both technical delivery and project leadership
- Proactive and organized with excellent attention to detail
- Familiar with relevant regulations and professional standards (CIBSE, etc.)
