About Us

A well-established transport planning and highway consultancy based in Bristol, working with clients across the UK are looking for a Traffic Analyst to join their team. They deliver expert advice and design services on projects of all sizes - from feasibility through planning, design, and implementation.

 

The Role

We are looking to recruit a Traffic Analyst to join their growing team.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing traffic generation and distribution calculations
• Predicting future traffic flows at specific junctions or across wider networks
• Undertaking junction capacity testing using PICADY, ARCADY, LINSIG and ideally TRANSYT
• Supporting work with SATURN and VISSIM
• Presenting results clearly in technical notes and reports
• Working collaboratively with our Transport Planners and Highway Design Engineers

 

About You

We are looking for someone who has:

• Strong Excel skills and an analytical mindset
• A few years’ experience in a similar traffic/transport role and/or a degree in Maths or Engineering with an interest in transport planning and a willingness to learn
• Ability to work well as part of a team, with excellent attention to detail
• Good communication skills for presenting technical findings
