Electrical Project Manager

Having won a number of new projects in the Healthcare, Education and Commercial sectors and looking to strengthen their team and succession plan, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced and ambitious Electrical Project Manager to join their Devon based team.

The Role

Working for a range of clients and main contractors, you will be responsible for the safe and successful delivery of your projects with contract values of up to £3m which include new build and refurbishment schemes. Duties will include:

• Working with clients and design teams to understand and develop the project brief
• Plan and programme work streams
• Collaborate with the commercial team on project budgets, procurement and forecasting
• Coordinate and support on-site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Maintain strong client relationships and ensure satisfaction at every stage.
• Attend and chair progress meetings and report on project performance.

The Person

• Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager or Project Engineer within the building services or construction sector.
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, installation, and design principles.
• Excellent management, communication, and organisational skills.
• Ability to take responsibility and lead your projects
• Relevant electrical qualifications (e.g. City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3, or HNC/HND).
• Full UK driving licence.
