Working for a Cornwall based Developer as Technical Manager in the pre-construction team, you will be the technical & engineering point of contact for all disciplines and managing the design and regulatory approval process and compliance from planning through to build completion on sites ranging from 50 – 200 plots.
 


Summary of duties for the Technical Manager role:

• Appointing and managing external consultants
• Managing design programme and budgets.
• Value engineering and timely delivery of technical information to support tendering and construction.
• Managing utilities, sectional agreements, and planning conditions.

Experience and Attributes needed to apply for the Technical Manager role:

• New build residential experience, with a developer, contractor or consultancy
• Strong knowledge of CDM regs, Building Regs and warranty standards
• Proven experience in Technical/design management and/or Pre Construction
• Degree/HNC or equivalent in construction related discipline
• Excellent project management skills
• Strong communication and organisati0n
• Excellent IT skills
