Structural Engineer, Temporary Works

£40,000 - £50,000

We are delighted to be working with a well-established consultancy which provides large scale temporary works solutions across the country. They have recently set up a Bristol office and are in need of someone who can join the design team and progress to chartered status.

Having operated in the Bristol market for over two years now, this business has successfully built its design team to ten staff and is now looking for an experienced Structural Engineer. This role would suit a structural  engineer who is approaching chartered status

This business has three other offices and an abundance of work. They have designed temporary works and propping structures across many sectors including;

• Major sports facilities
• Large infrastructure
• Bridges
• Open basements
• Façade propping
• Retention of structural elements during demolition

The Role

This role is primarily focused on design and pursuit of chartership. Suitable candidates can come from a variety of backgrounds including; bridges, building structures, temporary works or heavy civil structures.

Responsibilities will include;

• Hands on design
• Calculation reports
• Risk assessments
• Quality assurance
• Site surveys
• Client and contractor liaison
• Aiding in the development of junior staff
