We are looking for a Senior infrastructure engineer to join a growing Civils team as part of a successful multi-discipline consultancy. You’ll be based out of their Birmingham office and support with the growth of the Infrastructure Design expertise in Birmingham and across the wider business and UK regions.
The role:
As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, you will be working closely with the Infrastructure Team supporting the production of engineering designs for planning applications, detailed designs and construction of drainage, highways, SUDS, and building drainage for major infrastructure and residential, retail, industrial and commercial developments.
You will be responsible for the production of drainage and levels strategies in support of planning applications (including flood risk assessment reports), as well as producing and issuing technical drawings for tender
What we’re looking for someone with the following:
Someone with consultancy/private sector development background with experience working on residential development.
Personable and a strong team player with a people orientated approach and confident bringing new ideas into the Practice
Experience in the production of technical drawings for tender and construction purposes for a variety of infrastructure projects
Drainage strategies and flood risk assessment
