As an experienced and adaptable Contracts Manager, the successful candidate will be leading their site teams from the front, taking responsibility for successful delivery, ensuring that work is completed to time, quality, budget and client satisfaction. You should be contractually aware and customer focussed, having involvement in schemes from bid stage to handover, liaising with clients and consultants to build strong working relationships.
Projects can vary in size and complexity so candidates must demonstrate their adaptability and be confident in overseeing a variety of projects from £500k-£10m in a range of sectors and under a variety of forms of contracts including JCT and D & B.
Previous Contracts Management experience with a recognised building contractor is essential. You will hold up to date Health and Safety certificates including CITB SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid and ideally be qualified to HNC or equivalent level in Construction. A good working knowledge of the local area and marketplace is advantageous.
