An incredible opportunity has arisen for a Senior Estimator to join a Tier One Main Contractor based out of the Bristol office. This contractor undertakes a variety of sectors including education, healthcare, sports, leisure and commercial and has a healthy pipeline for 2021.
The purpose of the role is to ensure that all tenders prepared are in accordance with the business objectives and company procedures.
Responsibilities include:
Develop tender strategy
Prepare preliminaries in conjunction with Construction/Planning
Prepare the Nett cost to enable Divisional Director to adjudicate
Manage the tender/cost plan process
Identify and assess risk and opportunity including proposals for managing documentation
Negotiating with the client and/or the clients’ representatives
Attend tender interviews/meetings with the client/client’s representatives
Skills:
Minimum ONC or equivalent in construction related subject
Demonstrable experience working as a senior member of an estimating team for a major contractor
Demonstrable track record of winning bids
