This family owned, innovative company are looking to make a key appointment due to expansion. They are seeking a proactive and dynamic Operations Manager to join their team based at the Head Office in Cornwall.
The company is well established and are industry leaders in the import and distribution of specialist building materials across the UK.
Working alongside and reporting into Director level, you will be responsible for the operational and sales functions of the business. As a key member of the Senior Management Team, you will make strategic decisions on the running of the business and day to day management, lead and support your staff who would be based across 3 sites, promote high performance, build good business relationships that will benefit the company and ensure compliance in terms of H & S, HR and other relevant legislation.
Ideally, the successful applicant will have previous experience in a Building Supplies or Merchant environment. You will enjoy and thrive in the fast paced nature of sales, import and distribution. You should also meet the following criteria:
