Project Surveyor – Bristol
 
An opportunity has arisen for a Project Quantity Surveyor to join a leading Tier One Contractor on a permanent basis.

Responsible for the commercial aspects of a project / section of a larger project. For this particular project it is essential to have NEC experience and Healthcare desirable. A high degree of understanding and working knowledge of commercial project start up procedures is required and you would have managed large value schemes.

This position will include the following responsibilities but not limited:

• Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities
• Perform risk, value management and cost control
• Advise on a procurement strategy
• Identify, analyse and develop responses to commercial risks
• Prepare and analyse costings for tender
• Allocate work to subcontractors
• Provide advice on contractual claims
• Assisting in the production of Final Accounts

• Qualified at degree level or working towards MRICS or equivalent professional level
• Demonstrable and proven track record working for a large main contractor in the construction industry
• An expert negotiator with a keen eye for detail
• Confident and experienced in the use of Microsoft Excel & Microsoft Word
• Experience of working with BIM and computer aided measurement tools
