Senior Estimator – Somerset

An opportunity for a Senior Estimator has arisen to join a well-established South West construction company on a permanent basis. The purpose of the role is to ensure that all tenders prepared are in accordance with the business objectives and company procedures.

Responsibilities include:

• Develop tender strategy
• Prepare preliminaries in conjunction with Construction/Planning
• Manage the tender/cost plan process
• Identify and assess risk and opportunity including proposals for managing documentation
• Negotiating with the client and/or the clients’ representatives
• Attend tender interviews/meetings with the client/client’s representatives

• Minimum ONC or equivalent in construction related subject
• Demonstrable experience working as a senior member of an estimating team for a contractor
• Demonstrable track record of winning bids
