Senior Quantity Surveyor – Exeter

An opportunity has arisen to join a well-established and reputable regional contractor on a permanent basis. This role will be based out of Exeter to cover the region. Types of works include refurbishments, commercial new build, extensions ranging from £10k up to £2m. As the Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will provide commercial support to the project team and ensure compliance with contractual requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Provide commercial oversight and support in Contracts Management
• Provide monthly CVRs and financial reports
• Preparation of tender enquires for subcontract works packages and analysis of tender returns

• Preparation of Valuations/Application for payment with full supporting documentation in accordance with the contract
• Administration of subcontractor/supplier accounts from the preparation of detailed requisitions, monitoring and authorisation of subcontract payments through to agreement of final accounts.

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role
• Strong written, oral communication skills and negotiation
• Strong computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office and Project
