Project Architect, Birmingham, £30k - £40k + DOE

A very reputable Award Winning Architectural consultancy in central Birmingham are looking for an experienced Project Architect to join their friendly team of 20 based in their very modern offices in a great location in Birmingham.

You will be leading a team and running projects through all stages working in a range of multi million pound projects in a variety of sectors such as commercial, residential, high rise and industrial. The consultancy provides a range of services from feasibility studies and concept design, to detail design and production information is complemented by urban design and master planning, landscaping, interior design and expert witness functions

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the client to understand the business objectives, and develop a solution to meet these
  • Build client relationships to find new opportunities
  • Project Delivery
  • Leading project teams to produce drawings
  • Expected to visit site to ensure the project is running to time and budget
  • Provide exceptional client service and exceed client expectations
  • Negotiating with contractors and other professionals
Requirements 
  • RIBA / ARB registered
  • Must be proficient on Revit and/or MicroStation
  • Experience in preparing and presenting feasibility reports and design proposals
  • Up to date on all UK’s building regulations
  • Confident on expressing ideas in writing, sketching, and orally
  • Excellent design and technical skills
  • Must produce up to date portfolio
