Site Manager – St Austell

An opportunity has arisen due to a very healthy pipeline of work for an experience site manager to join a reputable contractor to join the team on a permanent basis. Projects include new build, extensions, refurbishments of school builds, holidays parks, restaurants, commercial and residential ranging in value from £100k to £3m. A solid career history with proof of managing schemes from inception to completion is required and a background of main contracting and is required.

Responsibilities:

• Liaising with clients and reporting progress
• Supervising contracted construction workers
• Meeting subcontractors
• Making safety inspections and ensuring construction and site safety
• Checking and preparing site reports, designs and drawings
• Maintaining quality control checks
• Motivating the workforce throughout the project
• Day to day problem solving
• Using specialist construction management computer applications
• Ensure compliance and Health and Safety Regulations are in place and met at all times

• SMSTS
• First Aid at Work
• CSCS Card
• Design + Build Experience
• Good IT skills
• UK Driving Licence
• Passionate about Health & Safety
