Super opportunity with great contractor!

This leading Main Contractor have a network of offices across the UK and have built a great reputation for delivering some of the UK’s landmark construction schemes in a wide range of sectors including Leisure, Health, Education and Commercial to name a few.

With an increase in workload across their South West region, they are looking to appoint an individual to work in their highly successful Bristol based commercial team. 

The position would be joining an established and professional commercial team who are working on a host of projects across a wide range of sectors. Reporting into an MQS, you will be responsible for delivering your own schemes from tender award to final account with typical  contract values from £5m-£25m.

Duties are likely to include:

  • Contract administration
  • Procurement
  • Identify & respond to commercial risks
  • Prepare valuations and variations
  • Agree payments
  • Cost monitoring & reporting accurately
  • Agreeing final accounts
Applicants must have sound knowledge of NEC forms of contract and commercial administrationand a thorough awareness of the Commercial process.
You should have a proven track record gained with a recognised Main Contractor managing your own jobs successfully, ideally within the health and education sector. It is envisaged you would hold HNC/HND, Degree or formal QS qualifications, be fully IT literate and a confident communicator who is able to build rapport with client, site teams and suppliers.
