Quantity Surveyor – Cornwall

An fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Construction Professional to join a Construction Management firm on a permanent basis to support with projects such as hotels, restaurants and residential. To be considered for this role, it is essential you have previously worked for a main contractor and have recently managed large value schemes.

Responsibilities:

• To support the project team with commercial and contractual expertise
• Assess, review and mitigate commercial and contractual risks
• Implement policies for risk management
• Preparation and presentation of monthly cost reports
• Value works executed by sub-contractors
• Certify interim and final payments 

• Previous project experience working with main contractor
• Degree qualified or relevant experience
• Proficient use of Microsoft Packages
• Strong written, oral communication skills and negotiation
• Strong computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office and Project
