We have worked with this Plymouth based company for many years, and we are sourcing an Principal Civil Engineer to help run their Civil Infrastructure department.
Company
Said company are a Scottish engineering consultancy business (although a lot of their offices are in England), they have over 550 staff covering wide ranges of disciplines throughout the United Kingdom. They have been running since 1902, with 18 locations in the UK. They provide a comprehensive range of civil engineering design, for commercial, residential and retail projects.
Currently the majority of the Plymouth offices work is based outside of the South West, and they would like to be acquire more local work. The Plymouth office is only 6 strong at the moment, and looking to grow as they are growing more in the south west.
Current Projects
The company works on mainly Retail and Commercial projects, such as London Underground sub-surface track works, a multi-ten million distribution centre for a major top 4 Supermarket, an 11,000 square metre business park with a two story car park that can hols hundreds of vehicles. The multidiscipline construction of a Higher-class Brand Supermarket.
