Senior Architect, Exeter Circa £55k + benefits and flexible home working

Fantastic opportunity for an Architect looking for that next step in their career and to fast track to Associate Director!

There is a great opportunity for an ambitious Senior Architect to join a well established construction management consultancy based in their vibrant Exeter office.

This highly regarded practice boast an excellent staff retention rate, with each employee staying with the company for an average of 10 years. They have been successfully operating for over 50 years with an excellent track record of thriving in difficult market conditions.

The company is multi-disciplinary, with a proven track record in delivering outstanding service to an impressive client base. As they continue to thrive and grow they are now keen to develop their Architectural division further. This opportunity requires an experienced and driven Architect to take the lead on a number of challenging and prestigious local projects.

The practice have a healthy pipeline of work and offer a wide range of interesting projects covering the Education, Healthcare, Higher Education, Blue Light and Commercial sectors.

The successful candidate will:

• Experienced qualified Architect who is driven and looking for the next step in their career
• UK based experience

• Client focused attitude with excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong technical and design abilities
• The ability / willingness to deliver projects, lead and manage teams
• An up-to-date knowledge of planning stage processes
• Healthcare and education experience would be an advantage
• Running project from start to finish, managing the overall design process within the RIBA work stages
• Co-ordinating a design team, working with Product Designers in-house and external construction professionals
• Complete site visits to check on progress and budget
• Liaise with the client and external consultants, attending design team meetings, managing collaborative communication streams and ensuring that the design projects are on schedule
