An award winning Contractor with a strong pipeline of work in the South West marketplace is seeking to supplement an existing site team on a large new build development with an established Site Manager.
The public sector scheme, part of a much larger framework, is about to commence and requires an experienced, adaptable Site Manager with sound awareness of Main contracting processes and a working understanding of Infrastructure, demolition/ground clearance, and both asbestos and ground surveys.
Responsible for a range of duties including Inductions and Health & Safety management, Sub-contractor organisation and co-ordination and general Quality assurance, You should have a proven track record of performing this role within a main contracting environment previously and should also have a Black CSCS card, SMSTS, and First Aid at work certificates.
Technically apt, you should have a good eye for detail, great organisational skills and have a motivation to deliver to programme, budget and quality standards. Previous public Sector or Healthcare project experience advantageous.
The scheme is due for completion later this year so offers a decent length PAYE contract with the potential for further work thereafter subject to performance and contractor workload.
