Senior Architectural Technician / Project Manager, Bristol £31kk - £45k + DOE

I am looking for a Senior Architectural Technician to join a leading consultancy working in Architecture, Planning and Urban Design in Bristol.

The consultancy has over 20 years’ experience specialising in residential architecture and is well known for the strength and reliability of their. They continually produce the best possible design solutions for every project, working across England and Wales.

The company is ideally looking for a Senior Architectural Technician with previous experience working with a housing developer / large residential projects, a strong knowledge of planning applications and building regulations. If successful, you will be running team and be responsible for ensuring work is completed in line with programme and clients expectations.

The Role:

• Managing a team to prepare all drawings ready for submission of planning applications
• Liaising with clients, local authorities and external consultants
• Delegating and coordination between consultants
• Making necessary amendments to planning applications, submitting information to discharge planning conditions
• Preparing house types, floor plans and elevations, layouts to include templates, design of road layouts and landscaping, preparing street scenes
• Preparing design and access statements
• Preparing presentations

• Preferred experience within the large scale residential housing sector
• Have an eye for design and detail and excellent communication skills
• Knowledge of planning requirements / procedures and building regulations
• Proficient in AutoCAD
• Have a full driving license and willingness to travel if required
