I have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced design manager looking for something a little different to the norm!

Working for an established and reputable family business, who specialise in timber frame houses with a passion for delivering sustainable construction projects throughout Devon & Cornwall.

The Role:

You will manage the design team which consists of 4 designers. You will delivery projects from pre-construction stages to site build, on schemes such as one off bespoke houses to volume housing sites.

• Review design development processes
• Manage and oversee external consultants and suppliers in order to deliver designs that are compliant with necessary building regulations and accreditation's.
• Motivate, lead and coach a team

Experience and Attributes needed to apply:

• Previous experience of Timber Frame construction
• Experience of managing a design team or capable of taking the step up
• Proficient use of design software including AutoCAD and HSBCad
• Thorough understanding of UK building regulations
• Excellent communication skills

Salary & Benefits:

£40k - £44k PA DOE
