Quantity Surveyor - Taunton

A market leading property maintenance company are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join their team. This well-established company’s portfolio includes refurbishments, reactive maintenance and painting to a variety of sectors including social housing, MOD, new builds and local authorities.

Responsibilities:

• Measurement, pricing and evaluation of tenders
• Manage the process from contract award through to final account agreement
• Cost management / CVR reporting and forecasting
• Reporting progress to senior management
• Management and administration of sub-contractor accounts
• Producing and submitting applications for payment
• Final accounts

• Relevant Qualification (e.g. HNC/HND/Degree/Diploma) or equivalent
• Previous experience in a similar position
• Experience in commercial management and procurement of subcontractors
• Ability to demonstrate a good knowledge of reporting
• Experience within painting is advantageous
• UK Driving Licence
