An opportunity has arisen for a Bid Writer to join a well established and reputable specialist building company on a permanent basis. This company provide a range of Fire Protection services to a variety of clients across the country. This position will be office based, full time, Monday to Friday. As a Bid Writer you will be working within the Bid Team reporting in to the Commercial Manager. Duties will include:
Handle and source suitable Tenders
Produce well written and creative bid responses
Write quality and technical answers to questions with support from the project team
Presenting and reviewing bids ensuring high standards
Complete all Approved Supplier Questionnaires
Final preparation and delivery of bids to strict deadlines
Attend any presentations
Work alongside all stakeholders to successfully secure new business
Previous experience of Bid and/or Copy Writing is essential. You should have some previous experience working within a commercial, tender, business development environment and possess excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
