Bid Writer – Bristol

An opportunity has arisen for a Bid Writer to join a well established and reputable Fire Stopping company on a permanent basis. This company provide a range of Fire Protection services to a range of clients. This position will be office based, full time, Monday to Friday. The purpose of the role will be to manage and coordinate the bid team’s activity and you will report to head of commercial.

Responsibilities:

• Secure new business and retain existing contracts through re-tenders
• Independently source relevant tender opportunities
• Complete all Approved Supplier Questionnaires (ASQs) and Pre-Qualification Questionnaires (PQQs)
• Write work-winning quality and technical written responses
• Final preparation and delivery of bids to strict deadlines

• Previous experience of Bid Writing
• Team management and ability to lead others
• High levels of attention to detail
• Advanced level MS Office skills (particularly MS Word)
• Articulate and have an excellent grasp of written English
• UK Driving Licence
