Bid Estimator – Bristol

An opportunity has arisen for a Bid Estimator to join a well established and reputable Fire Stopping company on a permanent basis. This company provide a range of Fire Protection services to a range of clients. This position will be office based, full time, Monday to Friday. The purpose of the role will to be prepare and issue quotations in support of securing bids. This position will also involve bidding alongside competition not compromising on quality and to ensure that the contract can be carried out profitably.

Responsibilities:

• Manage bid pricing from all suppliers
• Preparation and submit quotations
• Liaise with technical teams, client and customer
• Prepare cost analysis to present to the bid writer
• Resource / materials cost gathering
• Analysing quotes
• Manage bid pricing

• Ideally will have Fire protection experience
• Commercial astute
• Schedule of rates
• Construction related qualification
• Computer literate in Microsoft programs including Excel, Word and Outlook
• Strong numeric skills
• Excellent verbal & written communication
• This position could be of interest to a QS with estimating experience
• UK Driving Licence
