Superb opportinity for a Managing QS looking for long term career progression!
A Managing Quantity Surveyor is currently required to join a leading Civil Engineering contractor as they embark on a planned expansion programme across the Midlands and the South West of England.
As an organisation they operate across sectors including Highways, Infrastructure, Bridges, Flood Defence and car parks across the UK for clients in the public and private sector.
As the successfully appointed MQS your overall role will be to manage the commercial team of a number of surveyors working from graduate to senior level as well as being responsible for the successful commercial delivery of projects.
Due to the nature and level of this role its essential that you have demonstratable experience with the following:
- Pro-active & independent with the ability to communicate well with people on all levels.
- Experience of working on NEC and ICC form of contracts
- Developing strong relationships with internal departments, clients and subcontractors.
- Well versed in all aspects of quantity surveying
- Commercial Reporting – CVR’s / CFS / KPI’s / Performance
- Final Accounting, Cost Forecasting & Expenditure Profiling.
- Dispute Resolution
- Excellent management and leadership skills
