Senior Engineer – Bristol
An opportunity has arisen to join a leading construction main contractor within the heart of Bristol for an exciting and prestigious project. As the Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for initiating and leading tasks and processes, taking responsibility and being accountable where relevant and to manage all aspects of engineering on a section / project to ensure the works are delivered to meet the client’s expectations.
 
Responsibilities:

• Manage the setting out process including primary and secondary stations
• Examine the technical aspects of Value Engineering and consult with wider team
• Write proposals and obtain approval of measures for correcting inaccurate/defective work
• Manage subcontractors and suppliers to construct the works safely
• Anticipate risks of Environmental damage and formulate prevent strategies
• Manage all engineering activities related to their section of works
• Manage site reporting such as record sheets, site instructions etc

• Setting out for groundworks, piled foundations, concrete frame and general envelop and internal fit out
• Relevant construction related degree
• CSCS
• First Aid at work desirable
• Relevant driving licence
