I have an exciting role for a forward-thinking individual looking for a progressive role that in the future will lead to a buyer position.
Joining a reputable company who pride themselves on their company values and have been recognised for a number of awards over the years. Specialising in Construction, Education, Health care and Residential projects.
Working with the company buyer, this is an opportunity for the right person to either develop their procurement/construction skills, or for a well organised individual that operates well at their level and can provide support.
Day to day duties will include (list not exhausted):
- Placing purchase orders for both material and plant hire
- Accurate cost reporting
- Issuing enquiries
- Review quotes via excel
- Inputting and updating distribution reports
- Liaising with most departments in the business
Ideally you will have some construction related experience in a similar role, however the client is willing to consider people outside of the industry. You will need to be an organised individual who is keen to learn and possess strong IT skills.
