A well established local contracting business which prides itself in offering professional and attentive services to a broad range of clients is seeking an experienced Freelance Quantity Surveyor for forthcoming school refurbishments contracts over the summer.
The successful Quantity Surveyor will assume responsibility for the commercial process on a number of projects to £500k from initial Procurement to final account.
You'll need to be able to build good working relationships with the supply chain, site teams, consultants and clients, whilst minimising commercial risk and maximising profit.
Able to work autonomously and provide full support to the Commercial Manager, It is envisaged you'll have a proven track record in the Main contracting arena, with previous experience in managing multiple projects concurrently. Estimating experience would be highly advantageous.
This is a part site, part office based role which could include some remote working but it is essential you are locally based and able to attend various sites as required.
