Project Manager – Bournemouth
A market leading property maintenance company are looking for a Projects Manager to join their team on a permanent basis due to new project & pipeline of works. This well-established company’s portfolio include refurbishments, reactive maintenance and painting to a variety of sectors including social housing, MOD, new builds and local authorities. The purpose of the position is to manage a refurbishment scheme from cradle to grave inclusive of the below:
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily running of contracts to complete work to quality, time and cost constraints
- Ensure Health and Safety policies, procedures, safe working practices and risk assessments are effectively communicated to all site staff and contractors
- Maintain & develop overall strategy for the project
- Manage site administration and records
- Liaise with and manage labour, site staff, sub-contractors and supply chain
- Procure materials, plant and sub-contractors
- Liaise with Contracts Managers, client and end users
Requirements:- Experience within refurbishment
- A proven track record to show experience in a similar role managing contracts, managing teams, contributing to business plans and profit and loss reporting
- Experience of managing clients and contract KPIs to a consistently high level
- Sound knowledge of current HSE legislation
- Construction related tickets inc SMSTS CSCS First Aid at Work
- Relevant UK driving licence
