Reporting into the Head of Asset Management, you will have a key role in managing and delivery programme of capital works across Cornwall. Duties will include:
Involvement and input into the design and development of new housing schemes
Coordinate investment proposals, engaging with stakeholders, clients, boards and steering groups
Implement and develop management systems, processes and procedures relating to the operations and delivery of projects
Lead and chair progress meetings ensuring successful delivery to time, budget and quality
The person sought will be a construction professional who is able to collaborate effectively, build excellent relationships and is invested in making a positive impact on the schemes and people they manage. Requirements for the position:
Previous experience in a construction delivery role
Ideally a degree level qualification in a building related subject
Sound technical construction knowledge and understanding
Excellent management skills ideally developed through a construction management position
Commercial acumen with the ability to forecast and budget
SMSTS and CSCS certification is advantageous
