Mechanical Projects Manager
A large leading MEP client with an excellent reputation is looking for a Mechanical Project/Contracts Manager to join their team. The role will be based in Derby and we are looking for a Project/Contract Manager with a tier 1 or tier 2 background. Projects will range from 40 - 70 million. The company has a great staff retention rate due to their ongoing support in training and there is scope for career progression within the company.
The Contracts/Project Manager will responsible for the delivery of their projects in line with internal policies, procedures, EHSQ and financial targets. This Mechanical Porjects/Contracts Manager role reports to the Operations Manager.
The successful Mechanical Project/Contracts Manager must have:-
At least 2 years experience as a Mechanical Contracts Manager
Have previous experience working with in safety critical environments
Attend site weekly to monitor progress and quality.
Have an in-depth understanding of projects from a mechanical Perspective Experience and Qualifications Trade or Engineering Background
5 years post qualification experience in Construction/Project Management
Proven experience in MS Project, MS Office Suite Proven experience in MS
Excellent Communication, Organisation and Leadership skills
