Senior Quantity Surveyor – Bristol
This well-established building contractor prides themselves on delivering first class, innovative projects who design, construct and fit out buildings across both the public and private sector are looking to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join them on a permanent basis. The purpose of this role is to ensure financial completion of projects and to protect the companies financial risks. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for a large project or a number of small projects.

Responsibilities:

• To maximise the commercial efficiency of the project whilst reducing the risk profile
• Preparation of internal commercial reporting and any other reports which may be required measurement, valuation, and agreement of work sections
• Preparation of tender enquires for subcontract works packages and analysis of tender returns
• Preparation of Valuations/Application for payment with full supporting documentation in accordance with the contract
• Administration of subcontractor/supplier accounts from the preparation of detailed requisitions, monitoring and authorisation of subcontract payments through to agreement of final accounts and managing a small team

• Quantity Surveying qualification
• Experience of main contracting/large value schemes/NEC/JCT
• Strong written, oral communication skills and negotiation
• Strong computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office and Project
• Full UK driving Licence
