Associate Director – Cost/Project Management, Infrastructure – Cardiff – Up to £60k + package

Due to an upcoming retirement, there is a vacancy to lead the successful Project and Cost management team in Cardiff. The company have an outstanding reputation for providing Civil and Structural Engineering Design, along with Project and Cost Management services to a varied client base.
The PM/QS team typically work on infrastructure projects including road, rail and regional airport schemes. Their current workload includes: business case preparation; risk management; construction procurement advice; acting as employers agent; pre contract cost planning and post contract cost control.
The right individual will hold a relevant degree, ideally in Quantity Surveying together with a professional qualification (ideally MRICS or APM). You must have a solid career history, with a proven track record of successfully delivering a range of cost and project management services, predominantly within the infrastructure sector.
Experience of managing a small team including coaching and mentoring less experienced members of staff and improving their skills and capabilities is essential. You must also have an appetite for business development, be comfortable networking and enjoy being active with industry bodies and associations.
