We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic Senior Structural Engineer to join a structural engineering studio in Cardiff, and apply their creative design skills on challenging, high quality, high profile projects as part of one of several interdisciplinary design teams and with other architects.
Join and you will have the opportunity to develop your career with potentially the fastest growing engineering consultancy in the South West and Wales working on diverse projects across many sectors including healthcare, education, blue light and multi-storey framed buildings and gaining exposure to the full scope of an award winning Cardiff practice.
Projects in immediate pipeline range from £6m to £100m and include:
- Multi-storey RC frames
- Police stations
- Education projects both new build and refurb
- Cutting edge contemporary innovation centres both local and national
- Student accommodation
- Residential developments
- A major super market chain including their commercial buildings
Senior Structural Engineer; The Candidate You will have a passion for architecture and building design. You will be working closely with architects and will therefore be able to articulate your creative ideas persuasively through sketching, verbally and in writing.
You will have strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to resolve complex tasks through rational and methodical thought to achieve an optimum solution.
You will have a collaborative team-working style and will be able to work effectively with people at all levels and from all backgrounds.
