I have an exciting opportunity with a forward thinking construction business, who are recruiting for a brand new role - Marketing & Events Manager!
The main focus of the role will be to develop and implement the company’s marketing and events strategy, whilst developing their name in the market and the generation of workload opportunities in the region
Typical duties will include:
Working with a range of departments to identify promotion and marketing opportunities
Manage marketing campaigns, create material to promote new projects, company news and activities, ensuing you keep within budget.
Manage the company’s website, social media and internal communications
Lead generation through marketing
Liaising with and developer external contacts in media to grow relationships
Maintain the company database with relevant information and images
Attend events, promote brand and activities
Work with external contacts in order to promote activities
Work alongside and support the bid team
Work closely with the customer relations manager and SMT to develop events, proposals and timetable
Skills and attributes needed:
Excellent level of communication
Ability to organise and prioritise your own workload.
A self-starter, who is able to work well within a team and on own initiative
Creative and problem solving approach in order to find imaginative and practical solutions
A decisions maker
Exceptional presentation ability and interpersonal skills
Engaging and able to communicate with diverse audiences
It is essential to have previous and proven experience in a similar role
It is essential that you have relevant construction related experience, unfortunately if you do not hold this experience we cannot consider you for this role
