An opportunity for a leading Construction company in south West are in need of an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their growing team in Dorchester.
Preparation of monthly CIS Return for submission to HMRC
Processing 50% of the purchase ledger invoices and 50% subcontractor applications
Monthly reconciliation of supplier statements.
Weekly/monthly payment of suppliers and subcontractors by BACS.
Preparation of monthly payroll and expenses.
Costing queries and VAT returns
Preparation of monthly management accounts
Bookkeeping and Accounts preparation for holding company.
Annual analysis of nominal ledger codes
Supporting the Accounts Manager
Data cleansing and filing documents
Suitable candidates must have payroll experience, ideally have CIS experience and also be happy to work with the volumes. Must have excellent IT skills and pick up systems quickly.
