Are you looking for a progressive role to customer care manager in the future?



I have an exciting opportunity to join one of the most prestigious developers in Exeter. Working as a senior customer care coordinator you will report to head of department. You will deal with all daily customer service-related enquiries, via email and phone, logging and acting on defects. These could be existing or new defects! You will liaise with subcontractors, customers and site staff to rectify issues.
 

This role would be ideal for someone who has gained solid experience within the industry, specifically working for a developer in a customer service role, who now wants to progress, take on more responsibility and gain exposure in order to take a step up to a management role in the future.


As the Senior Customer Care Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the CRM system and delegate for the manager when they are absent. The aim will be to deliver exceptional customer service in a timely and professional manner, to resolve any matters of concern. At times decide if the reported defect is a defect. Monitor subcontractors performance and applications to work for the business.
 

This is a progressive role, where you will be given more responsibility as you learn and adapt to the role.




Experience and attributes needed:

  • Direct experience working in customer care/service role on behalf of a housing developer (such as customer care coordinator/advisor or senior/team leader)
  • At least 3-5 years experience in the above
  • Knowledge of tolerance, NHBC guidelines and building regulations
  • A problem solver and decision maker
  • Able to work in a fast paced and at times stressful environment, whilst remaining calm and patient with customers
  • Organised and able to prioritise workload in a methodical manner
  • Excellent Communication skills both written and spoken
  • Strong IT skills including, Microsoft Office, Outlook and Excel
  • Maintain accurate audit trails and ensure documentation is filed in an organised manner.
  • Assess performance and work quality of subcontractors and report issues to the Director

In return the company can offer a competitive starting salary and benefits package:


  • £25,000 - £30,000 PA DOE plus excellent benefits and an early finish on a Friday! 
The office is in Exeter, standard working hours with 1 hour for lunch, flexi start and finish times!
