A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and driven Business Development Manager to join an award winning, dynamic construction group who are successfully established across the South West.
This position offers real challenge and career prospects as the business continues to grow. Having won a number of new contracts including new build education facilities, residential developments and healthcare projects, they are seeking a highly motivated and capable Business Development Manager to identify new opportunities and engage with new and existing clients to generate business.
Working independently with the support of a Customer Relations Manager and an experienced bid team, you will be required to:
• Source new business leads and potential clients
• Secure appointments and meetings in order to present on the capability and key selling points of the
company
• Monitor and track leads on the CRM system
• Identify and implement a sales strategy for the business
• liaising with senior management to understand the briefs and target sectors
• attend various networking and industry events
• create ways to increase brand awareness and presence in local marketplace
You will have a proven track record in a Business Development and/or Business to Business sales role, within a construction or property related environment. You will possess strong communication, negotiation and client liaison skills alongside a confident and consultative sales approach.
